about

This mōteatea reminds us of our sacred capacity to align our Ranginui, Sky Father or intangible selves of spirit, heart, and mind, with our Papatūanuku Earth Mother tangible selves of our bodies. Like Te Tī Kouka (The Cabbage Tree), formed of both a visible trunk and a deep invisible taproot, we can restore a contemporary awareness of the ancient pou of our timeless intergenerational being. We can consciously become the face of the incessant dignified and dignifying flow of life, wairua (spirit) and aroha (love) we already are.

lyrics

Whakangā
Whakahā
E rere ana te wairua
Whakangā
Whakahā
E rere ana te Wairua
Ma te tika
Ma te pono
Me te aroha o Te Rau Aroha
Ma te tika
Ma te pono
Me te aroha o Te Rau Aroha
E rere ana te aroha eee
E rere ana te aroha eee
E rere ana te aroha eeeeeee
